Title: New Ecology Pt.1
The music that accompanies New Ecology (Galleri Gallery at Meow Wolf Denver) was written by Doug Spencer and Denver based composer/producer Wilson Helmericks. The “audio allegory” is spatially concentrated on each wall, moving through the exhibit and elaborating on Spencer’s work in three 4-minutes acts. Along with the art itself, this piece expresses the themes of humanity’s hubris, destruction and emptiness, and ultimately, the transmutation of new life.
